This market will resolve to the Nordic country whose candidate for Eurovision 2026 places highest. For the purposes of this market, the Nordic countries are Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. If no winner is announced by July 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve "Other". All ties will be broken according to EBU's official Eurovision rules. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Eurovision (https://eurovision.tv/), including live footage of Eurovision 2026, however a consensus of credible reporting will suffice.Trader consensus on Polymarket positions Finland as the clear frontrunner among Nordic entries for Eurovision 2026 at a 64.5% implied probability, propelled by Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen's UMK-winning "Liekinheitin"—a high-energy duet blending violin flair and pop hooks that has dominated OGAE fan voting and topped rankings since its late February reveal. The duo's standout performance at the Nordic Eurovision Party on March 21 further solidified buzz, outpacing rivals in pre-party metrics. Denmark follows at 20% with Søren Torpegaard Lund's emotive ballad "Før vi går hjem," fresh off its Dansk Melodi Grand Prix triumph in mid-February, appealing to jury sensibilities. Sweden's Melodifestivalen victor Felicia and "My System" sits at 13.5% amid solid but less explosive reception, while Norway's Jonas Lovv and Iceland trail with minimal momentum—Iceland hampered by boycott speculation. With pre-parties ongoing and Vienna semis approaching in May, televote surges or staging surprises could challenge Finland's lead.
